Wisconsin’s 15,000 lakes are all special and unique. But they share the need for statewide policy solutions to the problems many of our lakes face—aquatic invasive species, polluted runoff, shoreland management, groundwater supply, and other issues that effect lakes.
We have had some great successes over the years, thanks to member support and participation, but we need to do more for our lakes.
WAL’s lake policy program and member services are entirely supported by our members’ contributions. Each dollar goes to work for you as we advocate for lake interests inside the Capitol, keep you informed about lake issues via e-mail and in print, and provide timely customer service and technical assistance to our members. Your financial support is important to continue our work for lakes.
